Yes Rob, he does, ok? Don't you know that VoIP lets you have a phone number in whichever area code you choose? Apparently he chose to have a Utah phone number. Can you blame him?

hey thanks for the tip man. before i would just try to rename the vob. file to wmv but then i started to have playback issues with some movies. scenes would skip and the timing was off. would say 55min on a 2 hour movie. videoredo works great. just wanted a cheaper converter. but one time buy aint so bad. thanks

Well, the bitrate of the iTunes songs is pretty high to start with. When converted to a standard music CD, it reverts the track back to a WAV file. I am no expert on the conversion to MP3 from WAV but I always understood it to be more of a compression. Compressions can be uncompressed back to their original state. I know there is some loss, but if you start with a pretty high quality file, the chances of anyone noticing any loss is pretty unlikely. I don't buy many songs from iTunes because of the DRM protection but for the ones I have purchased, I burned and re-ripped and the resulting files sound fabulous.

That is one way to remove DRM but burning a lossy format to a CD and then re-ripping it degrades the quality of the music track somewhat.
